Last month a client got 4 150 leads from their online advertising:-
This is not a unique problem. Every business I've worked started out losing more sales because they were not able to contact the lead than for any other reason.
I know I'm a bit of a broken record when it comes to talking about increasing leads to sales. I keep on about this because:-
My client has 59 extra sales available every month. That's more than 700 sales a year. Put another way it's like having an extra month worth of income without an extra month's salaries, rent, advertising and so on. This is a strong incentive to reduce the number of non-contacted leads.
Obviously there are many reasons for not being able to contact a lead. One that most of us can relate to is not wanting to answer calls from unknown numbers. We get so many scam or spam calls that every unknown number looks risky. It's safer to let it go to voicemail.
More leads will answer your call if their phone shows that it's you calling. That happens when your details are in their contact list. I've built a free-to-use tool to help you get your details into your leads' contact lists.
The tool gives you a link that you can send to your leads by email, SMS or WhatsApp. When they click on the link it'll prompt them to add your details to their contact list. When you call they'll know who you are and be more likely to answer.
You can see how it works from the lead's perspective by using my link:
If you click on it it'll ask you if you want to add me to your contact list. If I called you you'd see my name and not just my phone number.
Here's how to create your own link:-
For my client, the message will read something like:
This is --name or business name--. We've received your enquiry. We'll call you as soon as possible to get some more information. Please click here to add our contact details to your phone so you know it's us calling. https://contactcrab.com/u/6VPl4BOXjw
You're welcome to adapt it to suit your business.
We're going to automate sending the messages as the lead arrives because of how many leads they get. If you only get a few leads a month you could send them manually.
If you're getting more than 100 leads a month, and your current lead handling system doesn't allow for automation we should talk. I have a solution that might be a good fit.
Over the last few years I've done deep work with a handful of clients to increase the number of sales they made from their Google and Facebook leads. I've put what I've learned into a 9-lesson email course.
My experience has been that it will deliver more sales if:-
Why we lost sales. Losing potential sales always hurts. But, if you know why you lost the sale you can make changes that'll help you win more sales down the line.
"Forget about reducing the CPC" In money terms my client paid Google about $1 400 per client he contracted with. He could live with spending $500 per new client. Here's how we're going to hit that target.
An easier way to sell services. Bigger value projects take a lot of work to sell. You have to have the discovery calls, meeting notes, customised proposals and quotes. And, you often need several follow-up meetings. There is another way.
Deleting fake leads leads to more fake leads. If the only thing you do with fake leads from Google Ads is delete the lead delivery email you risk getting swamped by fake leads. Here's why and what to do to improve lead quality.

How to win more quotes without lowering your prices In a perfect world you'd win every quote but the reality is that most quotes don't turn into sales. It is possible to turn a lot more quotes into sales without lowering prices. Here's one way.
You could be shooting yourself in the foot if you send quotes in Excel or Word. There is a problem with emailing quotes in Word or Excel: There is no guarantee that the quote will look like it should.

Leads ghosting you? A business owner complained that his leads were ghosting (ignoring) him after initially showing interest. As we worked together we uncovered a mismatch between lead temperature and his response.
60 leads a week and no sales Their first instinct was to change the adverts. It sort of makes sense. Adverts aren’t producing sales so the adverts must be broken. Fix the adverts and you'll get more sales. But, they could change their ads, spend a load more money and get no sales. This is because the adverts might not be the real problem
About 25% of online leads are lost before they speak to a sales person. Losing 1 in 4 of possible sales before the process even starts is a huge waste. It's also a huge opportunity...
A warning about Google Local Service Ads for doctors, lawyers and other professionals I investigated using Google Local Service Ads for a law firm client. Turns out that there are some privacy issues which were of concern. They may be of concern to you too.
The one number you must know if you're going to use Google Ads to generate leads. How much can you pay for a lead and still be profitable? It is obvious, and it should be advertising 101, but I've lost count of the number of people paying Google who don't know the number.

Is AdWords scaleable? There are a finite number of people who want what you sell, can afford what you sell and are in an area you can reach. Some portion of those people will use Google. That number is the upper limit of AdWords scaleability.
